[Brass music] What would Rabadan be without our Güggen bands? They are the soul of the party, the colour... the pleasure of being together, the music that fills every corner, like confetti in the air... from morning to night, the musicians keep us moving for six days, even when the wind blows hard and the cold bites. The Güggens never give up.
[Floats] Every year our 'carristi' perform miracles. Colours, sketches and puppets, tractors that carry tons and tons of ideas, months of work, inventions, contrasts and solutions... practical, capable people, our "carristi"! Watching them parade is a pleasure; the extras dancing to the point of exhaustion, laughing at themselves and at others... no one knows how to do it better than them.
[Groups] There they are, the masters of laughter. What would our Corteo be without them? They are the undisputed masters of the parade. The whole audience is waiting for them on Viale Stazione. The larger groups even bring a wagon, the smaller ones stop along the way, they make us forget about our problems, they let us become children again.
[Spontaneous Groups] Well... then there are these guys. Unusual characters, who masquerade as serious people throughout the year... then they show up at Carnival and they crack you up with laughter.
They are a rare species that lives with Rabadan in its blood. Their families have been doing Carnival for generations before them. Every year, these little groups are self organized and perform little sketches in every corner of the city, repeating them over and over again. Why? To make the Carnival people laugh, to keep our Rabadan beautiful and sincere!
[Children] Children are the future of Rabadan... to see three thousands of them parading through Viale Stazione, in beautiful and colourful costumes, made with little or nothing... this is a source of great satisfaction for the King and Queen as it ensures the continuity of their kingdom... Well done little ones... keep it up...
[The Court] Long live the King!.. With his beautiful Queen and the Damsels of the court. You should know that being part of King Rabadan's court is tough... for two months they appear at every Carnival in our beautiful Canton. And they also invite all the other Kings and Queens to party in the shadow of the Castel Grande mask. For six days a year in Bellinzona, the town Council has no say in the matter... King Rabadan rules!

[Committee] They are those ladies and gentlemen in yellow jackets! And they never give up either. They have their heads buried in Carnival all year round and they are the ones who make everything work, who make it possible for King Rabadan to keep his people happy. Parades, concerts, theatre, lunches and risottos day and evening dedicated to grandparents and children. Without them... nothing would work.
